This class focuses on building foundational grammar skills while exploring literary devices to enhance writing and comprehension. Each module introduces a key grammar rule or literary device in a structured and engaging way. The topics covered are as follows:

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗜 𝗖𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿?
The class covers essential grammar rules, writing techniques, and an introduction to literary devices. Students will practice identifying and using these elements to improve their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.

Each class follows a consistent format to help students stay engaged and retain information:
1. Brain Game: A warm-up activity to stimulate creativity and focus.
2. Definition: Introduction of the grammar rule or literary device for the module.
3. Brief Activity: A hands-on exercise to solidify the concept.
4. Extended Practice: Two additional activities for deeper learning and application.

The class combines direct instruction and interactive activities. Lessons are visually engaging, incorporating slides, video clips, and examples to bring concepts to life.

While this course is self-paced with pre-recorded lessons, learners will still have access to the instructor if they have questions.

The class aims to improve students’ understanding of grammar rules while introducing them to the beauty of literary devices in a fun, engaging, and memorable way. Each activity is carefully designed to be developmentally appropriate and challenging enough to spark curiosity and learning.
Objectives
Master Core Grammar Rules: Gain a clear understanding of key grammar concepts, including sentence types, subject-verb agreement, and verb tense, and confidently apply them in their writing.
Identify and Use Literary Devices: Learn to recognize and incorporate literary devices such as metaphors, similes, symbolism, and onomatopoeia to make their writing more expressive and engaging.
Improve Writing Clarity and Style: Strengthen their ability to write with proper structure, punctuation, and voice, including understanding passive vs. active voice, contractions, and apostrophes.
Enhance Analytical Thinking: Develop skills to identify and interpret literary techniques in texts, fostering deeper reading comprehension and critical thinking.
Engage in Creative Expression: Build confidence in using creative and descriptive language by experimenting with tools like alliteration, hyperbole, and imagery in their own writing.
