Becoming Fearless

I was recently featured on a podcast dedicated to entrepreneurship and the fears that come with starting one’s own business.  I’ve discussed my travels and even motherhood on other podcasts.  I didn’t have any fears about traveling around the world with my daughter.

But, I did have fears with starting my own business.  It wasn’t so much fear of failing but the uncertainty of where and how to start.  Finally, I just did it.

One thing I would add, stay up-to-date on new trends.  Take online classes.  I took free online courses related to business and marketing through Coursera and EdX.  It is important to always find ways to improve yourself and gain knowledge about the industry.  Online learning and teaching are constantly expanding and evolving.
