Free Publicity and Features

I’ve been asked, “How do you get free publicity?”

Let me start with this.  I have never paid for a feature, to be on a podcast, or to be a speaker at a conference or event.  If someone is telling you that they need to be paid for you to be featured, you are paying for advertising.  These are two different things.

There are some steps and strategies you can use to get these features.  In the last thirty days, I did three interviews.  These individuals reached out to me.  One of them, I had previously communicated with online.
