Objective: Student will learn how to structure an informal writing assignment.
Student will learn about adding details to paragraphs.
Student will learn about the elements for a narrative using Story Mountain.
Module 2: Informative (Formal)
Students will select a topic to write about (writing prompts will be posted for options).
Students will write about their expertise on the selected subject.
Module 3: Compare/Contrast Essay (Formal)
Objective: Student will select two things to compare and contrast using formal writing.
Student will include their outline (point-by-point or subject-by-subject).
Students will learn about developing a thesis statement.
Module 4:
Persuasive Paper (Formal/Informal)
Objective: Student will learn to support claims with logical reasoning.
Student will learn the persuasive elements: pathos, ethos, logos.
